20th Integrated Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Conference (ICNS 2020)
April 21-23, 2020 September 9-11, 2020
Herndon, VA, USA

To our ICNS 2020 Guest Speakers, Sponsors, Track and Session Chairs, Authors, and Attendees:

Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have postponed the ICNS 2020 conference until Wednesday 9 September – Friday 11 September 2020. The conference will remain in the same hotel. The safety and well-being of our ICNS community of volunteers, participants, and guest speakers is our priority. We will continue to strive to deliver the best possible value and experience for everyone involved as the summer progresses.

If you have already registered for ICNS 2020, your conference registration will carry forward to the future date automatically—there is no need to re-register. For people who have already registered for the conference and are unable to attend given the new dates, refunds will be possible. For those attendees who made hotel reservations through the ICNS 2020 conference website, the hotel will cancel your April reservations. You will need to make new hotel reservations for the September dates.

Authors who have submitted papers will also receive detailed instructions within the next week. The instructions will describe options for authors to update their papers over the summer if they wish to share the latest data at the conference.

Sponsors and exhibitors will be contacted shortly by the ICNS 2020 sponsors and exhibitors chair.

Thank you for your patience and understanding through this disruptive pandemic. The ICNS volunteer leadership team is committed to protecting the well-being of all our conference participants. We are working hard to provide you with an enjoyable, valuable, and productive professional meeting later in the year that supports the interchange and leadership of the concepts and technologies shaping the future evolution of our global CNS and ATM systems.

We look forward to seeing you at ICNS 2020 in September!

2020 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for AeroSpace
June 22-24, 2020
Pisa, Italy

IEEE MetroAeroSpace 2020 Organizing Committee is closely following the latest developments about the COVID-19 sanitary emergency. Please know that our thoughts are with those affected by COVID-19.

The health and well-being of our speakers, invited participants, and the seminary community is our first priority. After studying and evaluating the recent announcements, news, relevant National Departments guidelines and restrictions on travels and group gatherings, we are sorry to announce that IEEE MetroAeroSpace 2020, scheduled to be held June 22-24, 2020 in Pisa, Italy will no longer be held there. An electronic virtual conference will be organised.

In order to accommodate our authors, MetroAeroSpace will be providing a platform for accepted authors to upload a presentation about their work. These presentations will then be available to all paid attendees and will allow accepted papers to be published in IEEE Xplore. More information on how attendees and presenting authors can upload and access these presentations will be available soon. Registration fee will be reduced due to the cancellation of a face to face conference. The new fees are available on the website.

We would like to take this opportunity to kindly remind you that the final paper submission deadline has been postponed to May 30, 2020.

The committee is working diligently with IEEE Meeting, Conference and Events team to develop the best course of action. We will continue updating the Conference website to keep you informed about Conference news.

Radar Summer School 2020
July 3-10, 2020

Due to public health concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak, we saw no alternative but to cancel the 12th International Summer School on Radar/SAR 2020. The health and safety of our attendees, partners, presenters, and colleagues is of the utmost importance to us. We were forced to consider the growing risk of exposure, especially in the German state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia), where our event is located.

This was a painful decision for us, but your health and safety are just too important. We’re already looking forward to bouncing back with style for 2021.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

23rd International Conference on Information Fusion
July 6-9, 2020
Sun City, South Africa

Today, with the results of a number of separate discussions on the various options and witnessing the strong participation of our community, ISIF and the Fusion 2020 organization jointly opted for conveying the conference in virtual format only, while keeping all of its technical program intact. As such, the on-site component of the Fusion 2020 conference at Sun City is cancelled. All reasonable steps should be taken to cancel any travel and accommodation arrangements that have already been made.

In other words, we will proceed with the web-based conference arrangements for the tutorials, special sessions, and regular sessions; while also working to set up the appropriate cloud-based infrastructure to support our presenters and attendees.

The Fusion 2020 organization is working tirelessly to ensure we experience the same level of technical quality and coordination our community became used to have in face-to-face events, while leveraging the advantages of a virtual conference environment. This intensive work involves a rather complex logistical effort that will continue as we are getting ready for our July (virtual) gathering. As a result, important details are being and will continue to be posted at the Fusion 2020 conference page (http://fusion2020.org).
