AESS Affiliate status is available to those who do not wish to become IEEE members but wish to affiliate with the AES Society.

AES History Presentation - from Aug 2009, as presented to the IEEE History Conference by Moshe Kam, IEEE 2011 President-Elect, on behalf of Eric Herz who developed the material but was unable to attend. Eric is a former President of AES as well as former IEEE Vice-President, TAB and former IEEE Managing Director.

FIELD OF INTEREST “The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments.  These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control."
