AESS Support of the IEEE Sections Congress

AESS supported the IEEE Sections Congress by participating in a virtual exhibit organized by Technical Activities (TA) that was conducted on Saturday, April 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm ET.  Our portion was a panel discussion on Chapter Resources.  The event was recorded and can be accessed at The recording and slides provide useful information about how to engage members with the activities led by TA, and the products, services, resources, and engagement opportunities you can share with volunteers and members in your local area.  Screenshots from the AESS portion of the event are provided below.  This begins at 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 5 seconds into the recording.


AESS Board members Bob Rassa and Jill Gostin made a presentation on Saturday, April 1th from 4:30 – 5:00 pm ET.  Their topic was IEEE Sections & Societies Working Together/Building Local Technical Communities in Chapters.  They reported on the results of a joint MGA/TA ad-hoc committee on improving chapter support that they have been co-chairing over the last two years.  The session was recorded and can be accessed through the Sections Congress program schedule at are provided below.
