Central Texas Section Joint SMC/AESS Chapter Meeting

On Friday, October 14, 2016, the IEEE Central Texas Section Joint SMC-AES Chapter met at the University of Incarnate Word Autonomous Vehicle Systems (AVS) Laboratory for presentations on the functionality of the laboratory, hands-on exercises with undergraduate educational tools for aerospace dynamics and controls, and a quadcopter drone demonstration.  The meeting was hosted by AVS Laboratory faculty members Dr. Michael Frye and Dr. Sree Nair, and was attended by six IEEE members and nine guests.  Next month the chapter will meet on November 14, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at the University of Texas at San Antonio Unmanned Systems Laboratory in the continuation of a series of meetings highlighting ongoing research and education on autonomous and unmanned systems at universities and other organizations in the Central Texas Section.
