Congratulations to Ron Ogan, contributing author for the upcoming "Modeling and Simulation in the Systems Engineering Life Cycle" Springer Text

You are here

The IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society would like to congratulate Ron Ogan for his contributions to the upcoming reference, "Modeling and Simulation in the Systems Engineering Life Cycle" to be released by Springer as part of the Simulation Foundations, Methods and Applications series.

The reference will:

  • Describe how systems engineering principles can be used in the development of models and simulations
  • Address how modeling and simulation is used in each phase of the systems engineering life cycle
  • Discuss a wide variety of methodologies, examining the types of problems each method is best suited to address, rather than focusing on one specific methodology

Field of Interest

“The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments. These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control."
