Christopher Geiger is the engineering director of Lockheed Martin Integrated Test and Logistics (ITL), Board of Directors Treasurer of Martin Federal Credit Union, and an elected official in Orange County, Florida. Lockheed Martin ITL specializes in logistics information systems, automated test equipment and aircraft ground support equipment with sales of $800M and over 200 engineers in Orlando, FL and Ft Worth, TX. Martin Federal Credit Union is a $100M community charter credit union in Central Florida.
Mr. Geiger has been with Lockheed Martin for 15 years and was previously the chief engineer of the Enterprise Test Solutions product area designing and supporting the LM-STARTM and eCASS avionics automated test systems for US and allied militaries ($100M+ sales). Before that he held progressing responsibilities in hardware engineering culminating as functional hardware engineering leader for Lockheed Martin Global Training and Logistics (GTL) with 250 employees in Orlando, FL, Ft Worth, TX, and Akron, OH.
He was awarded the "2015 Engineer of the Year" from the Florida Professional Engineers in Industry and the "2014 Outstanding Engineer Award" from the IEEE Orlando Section. In addition, he guest lectures at graduate and undergraduate engineering leadership courses (UF, Valencia) and teaches internal Lockheed Martin classes.
In 2010 Mr. Geiger was elected to a Florida special district board (Urban Orlando Community Development District) where he became chairman in 2014 and refinanced public bonds into private placement for a 12% tax cut to residents. He is also a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) as well as a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAS).
He holds a master's in business administration and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and chemistry from the University of Florida. He is also a licensed Florida Professional Engineering (PE) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
