GOLD for GOLD AESS Initiative
In an effort to provide additional services to young IEEE members and to increase AESS membership, the new AESS GOLD for GOLD initiative mainly consists of providing tutorials by GOLD AESS members to other GOLD AESS people.
In this framework, qualified GOLD AESS academics or professionals are kindly invited:
• to offer video tutorials to GOLD users according to their interests and needs;
• to provide tutorials to PhD students at IEEE AESS sponsored conferences and at
meetings of GOLD members at AESS Chapters;
• to promote appropriate books as tutorials among other GOLD members;
• to conduct historical interviews of pioneers in the fields of AESS;
• to develop a compendium that provides useful links to existing open source education information (such as links to appropriate courses on MIT Open Courseware ( http://ocw.mit.edu ), Connexions ( http://cnx.org/ ), and others). This activity aims at realising an indexing method that is intuitive for IEEE AESS members to find the content of interest.
