The Gyro and Accelerometer Technical Panel received the 2015 Outstanding Technical Panel of the Year Award during their last meeting at UC Irvine on July 7 & 8, 2016 - For outstanding efforts to develop standards, standard terminology, specification formats, and test procedures for, and to promote understanding of components and systems for detection or measurement of linear or angular motion.

Field of Interest

“The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments. These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control."
