Outstanding AESS Panel Award for 2014

The Aerospace Control and Guidance Systems Panel was selected for the Outstanding AESS Panel Award for 2014.

This award was initiated in 2013 to recognize noteworthy performance in one or more categories: a) leadership and/or participation in AESS conferences, b) generation and maintenance of IEEE Standards, c) generating and reviewing technical papers in their fields of interest, d) providing support and technical guidance in potential new areas of applications in their fields of interest.  In 2013, the award was presented to the Radar Systems Panel.

Congratulations to the Chair, Phil Hattis, and all the Panel members!

Field of Interest

“The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments. These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control."
