Progress to Modern Computing - IEEE Young Professional Presentation

You are here

IEEE Young Professional Presentation.

It has taken centuries of research into mathematics, physics, engineering, and computer science to create the technology necessary to achieve the speed and breadth of communication present between individuals and groups in the world today.  Computing resources enable these modern communications interactions.  This presentation will showcase materials from the Southwest Research Institute Rare Books Collection that are part of the foundation for modern-day computing resources in communications applications.
