Radar Summer School

The AESS Radar Systems Panel organized the 1st Radar Summer School in 2017 in Seattle, WA, USA, with great success!  The goal was to teach introductory radar concepts to students in the 2-day event. In 2017 there were 43 attendees. Kudos was given in the May 2017 Editorial in the Systems Magazine.

The 2018 edition was just held in Oklahoma City, OK, USA.  Stay tuned for the final report.

Rising Stars

AESS was a supporter of the 2018 Rising Stars Conference.

YP in Space

AESS participated in Young Professionals in Space 2017 in Bengaluru, India.  For more information, see the article in the February 2018 issue of the AESS Systems Magazine.

AESS Engineering Scholarships

AESS has Engineering Scholarships to recognize students pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering at the undergraduate level, and systems engineering at the graduate level.

Field of Interest

“The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments. These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control."
