Dr. Stephen Kogon is an expert in signal processing, adaptive systems, array processing and data exploitation. He provides expertise to STR programs in radar, electronic warfare, sonar and other novel sensing concepts.
Previously, Dr. Kogon was Leader of the Airborne Radar Systems Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He led algorithm system prototyping and development programs in ground moving target indication (GMTI) radar, maritime radar, radar imaging and electronic warfare.
Dr. Kogon is a researcher in signal processing having worked on applications in airborne and space-based radar as well as sonar with roles in algorithm development and systems analysis. His research expertise includes radar systems, space-time adaptive processing, underwater acoustics, adaptive beam forming, and direction finding.
Dr. Kogon received his Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, his M.S. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and his B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute — all in Electrical Engineering.
