Universidad de los Andes

We are the ‘Universidad de Los Andes’ student branch of the Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society. As an academically inclined branch of AESS and a collection of enthusiastic and eager engineering students focused on the aerospace industry we strive to educate our community and help our region develop itself around aerospace.

In our efforts to help spread knowledge we encourage research and spread information through our seminars, short courses and interactive activities relating to mathematical and engineering problems and situations that arise in aerospace, these seek to inform our community of the basics of industry, the current state of it and the relevant knowledge for such engineering problems.

Aside from helping in the spread of aerospace knowledge, as a group, we also seek to advance and push beyond the current technological boundaries through our own research and development projects focused on both theoretical or mathematical calculation and practical development of prototypes.
