Ali A. Abdallah is a Senior Research Scientist at Google, where he focuses on advancing navigation systems in challenged environments. His primary research interests include opportunistic navigation, 5G and Wi-Fi indoor localization, and mitigating GNSS jamming and spoofing. He received his B.E. in electrical engineering from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in 2017, followed by his M.S. (2022) and Ph.D. (2023) in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Irvine. His work has been recognized with the 2022 IEEE Harry Rowe Mimno Award, the Grand Prize at the 2020 IEEE Signal Processing Society 5-MICC, and the Best Student Paper Award at the 2020 IEEE/ION PLANS.
