Claire Migliaccio is currently a Full Professor at the Université Côte d'Azur, CNRS, Laboratoire d'Electronique, Antennes et Télécommunications, France. Her research interests include design, simulation, modeling and measurements of electrically large antennas for radar applications, ULB (Ultra Large Band) and millimeter-wave wideband antennas, Millimeter-wave scattering measurements and millimeter-wave imaging systems, mm-wave systems from antenna design applied to radar and imaging techniques, machine learning for classification based on mm-Wave measurements. Her research include a large field of applications: medical imaging, non-destructive testing, monitoring of agricultural products, security and surveillance.
Since 2015 she has she has taken on different functions within IEEE: she has been a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Distinguished Lecturer Program (2015 and 2016) and has served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation (IEEE-TAP) from July 2016 to July 2017 and as Track Editor from July 2017 to present. She is currently an elected IEEE-TAP AdCom member (until Dec. 2022). She has set-up and chairs since dec. 2020 the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee of IEEE-TAP and has established the IEEE AP-S Mojgan Daneshmand Grant for Women Engineers in 2021.
