Ingrid Ullmann (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in
2016 and the Ph.D. degree in 2021, both from Friedrich-Alexander-University
Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), Erlangen, Germany. She is currently a post-doc and
head of the research group “Wave-based Imaging Systems” at the Institute of
Microwaves and Photonics at FAU.
Her research interests include radar imaging and radar signal processing for
nondestructive testing, security screening, medical radar and automotive
applications.
She serves as a reviewer for the European Radar Conference (EuRAD) and various
journals in the field of microwaves and is a member of the IEEE CRFID Technical
Committee on Motion Capture & Localization.
Dr. Ullmann received the Argus Science Award (sponsored by Airbus Defense and
Space, now Hensoldt) in 2016 and the EuRAD Conference Prize in 2019.
