AESS India Initiatve Update: September 2023
During March 2022 BoG Meeting, AESS India Initiative was approved. 496 additional members are added in AESS in India with this total AESS Membership in India stands at 519 as on Sep 26, 2023. This is big achievement within 18 months of roll out of AESS India Membership Initiative. Bangalore Chapter (my parent chapter) is now world’s largest AESS Chapter with 265 Members. 6 out of 13 Sections in India have more than 40 Members, 4 out of 13 sections have more than 25 AESS members. A new AESS section Chapter is opened in IEEE UP Section during July 2023, with this now 6 out of 13 sections have AESS Section chapter.

Mr. Puneet Kumar Mishra, BoG, IEEE AESS has inaugurated 2 AESS Student chapters namely: KLE-IT Hubballi and PACE Mangalore during 10 June 2023 and 22 July 2023 respectively.
