International Congress of Electronic Engineering and Applications Recap
The first issue of the ELECON was organized in honor of the Silver Anniversary of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering atthe Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC). Sponsored by the IEEE AESS & SPS Peru JointChapter and the IEEE UNSAAC Student Branch, and collaboration of the Florida West Coast Section, ELECON 2023 washeld in the city of Cusco, Peru, from the 13 to 15 of November, and with a public over 500 attendees was a success.
Several speakers were present at the event in all branches of electronic engineering, where AESS was well representedwith two Latin American Distinguished Lecturers, Dr. Avid Roman Gonzalez (DL from Peru) with the Lecture “Design andSimulation of Nanosatellites” and Eng. Giovanna Estefanía Ramírez (DL from Colombia) with the Lecture “A Day inSpace: Astronaut Training”.
The whole engineering community of Cusco city was invited to the event, and they had clearly appreciated the potential ofIEEE and directly the IEEE Student Branch as well AESS Distinguished Lecturer Program and finally the IEEE AESSUNSAAC that is the local representation of the student chapters in Peru, whom currently are part of the AESS DSTEI program.
