International Congress of Electronic Engineering and Applications Recap
The first issue ELECON was organized in honor of the Silver Anniversary of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering atthe Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC). Sponsored by the IEEE AESS & SPS Peru Joint Chapter and the IEEE UNSAAC Student Branch, and in collaboration of the Florida West Coast Section. ELECON 2023 was held in the city of Cusco, Peru, from the 13 to 15 November, with over 500 attendees.
Several speakers were present at the event in all branches of electronic engineering, where AESS was well represented with two Latin American Distinguished Lecturers, Dr. Avid Roman Gonzalez (DL from Peru) with the Lecture “Design and simulation of Nanosatellites” and Eng. Giovanna Estefanía Ramírez (DL from Colombia) with the Lecture “A Day in Space: Astronaut Training”.
The whole engineering community of Cusco city was invited to the event and appreciated the potential of and directly the IEEE Student Branch as well AESS Distinguished Lecturer Program, the IEEE AESSUNSAAC that is the local representation of the student chapters in Peru, which currently are part of the AESS DSTEI program.
