John Stralka is a Northrop Grumman Fellow and a member of the technical staff in the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test group of the Engineering & Sciences organization of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems located in Baltimore, MD, USA. He has over 30 years of experience in radar and electronic warfare systems engineering (performance analysis, mode design, signal processing algorithm development, and integration & test) and architecture design. He has been the principal investigator / chief engineer on several advanced radar and electronic warfare development and demonstration efforts. He previously held engineering positions with Technology Service Corporation, AAI Corporation, and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. John earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering also from Johns Hopkins University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland, a Senior Member of the IEEE, an IEEE Wireless Communications Professional, and belongs to the Association of Old Crows (electronic warfare organization). John is a member of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Radar Systems Panel (RSP) and member of the MSS Tri-Service Radar Symposium Program Committee.
