Event Summary: Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra, Senior Fellow at the United States DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory presented the IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecture titled "Deep Learning for mmWave and THz Beamforming Applications" at the Engineering Building, University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida USA. The event was organized by the IEEE AESS Florida West Coast Section Chapter on 14 July 2023. The talk focused on applying deep learning to various aspects of hybrid beamforming including channel estimation, antenna selection, wideband beamforming, and spatial modulation at mmWave and THz frequencies.
