Minghui Sun is a Ph.D. candidate in Systems Engineering at The University of Virginia (UVA). His research interests include Safety-Guided Design, Model-based Safety Assessment, and the application in air transportation and commercial aviation systems. Before joining UVA, he was an airworthiness engineer at Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, specializing in safety assurance and aircraft certification regulation. He got his Bachelor and Master's degree both in Control Engineering.
