Dr. Ryan Park is a Principal Engineer and Senior Research Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). He is a Fellow of the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Additionally, he holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position in the Department of Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Park received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. At JPL, Dr. Park leads the Solar System Dynamics Group, overseeing the development of ephemerides, gravity fields, and rotations of natural planetary objects. He also serves as the Associate Directorate Scientist for JPL’s Interplanetary Network Directorate. Furthermore, Dr. Park is a Science Co-Investigator for the Juno, Psyche, and Europa Clipper missions and a Science Collaborator for the Hera mission. His primary research focuses on the development of planetary and lunar ephemerides and gravity science.
