Event Summary: Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra, Senior Fellow at the United States DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory presented the IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecture titled "Integrated sensing and communications (ISAC): optimization & learning techniques, vehicular ISAC, distributed ISAC, mmWave and THz ISAC, full-duplex ISAC" at the Information Technology Lab, US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. The event was organized by the IEEE Mississippi Section on 10 July 2023. The talk focuses on the recent developments toward distributed integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), wherein a broad definition of coexistence, collaborative communications, and sensing with interference is considered for ISAC. The talk was followed by a lively and engaging Q&A session between the audience and the speaker. The event lasted for nearly two hours.
