Event Summary: Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra, Senior Fellow at the United States DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory presented two IEEE AESS Distinguished Lectures titled "Recent advances in integrated sensing and communications" at the University of Delaware Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Newark, Delaware, USA. The event was organized by UDel and the IEEE Delaware Bay Section on 20 September 2023. The talk focused on the background of joint radar-communications and their applications to spectral co-design, coexistence, and opportunistic ISAC. The talk was followed by a lively and engaging Q&A session between the audience and the speaker. The event lasted for nearly 1.5 hours. The hosts also gave a tour of the UDel ECE to the speaker.
