Abstract

This has been my flagship lecture, given worldwide and virtually dozens of time. This lecture is a motivational introduction to radar and EW, mainly for undergraduate and graduate students in EE, as well as industry practitioners supporting radar programs. This lecture shows “the big picture” in radar and EW, highlighting what’s the realm of possibilities, and discussing where R&D will bring radars in the next 5-10 years. The objective is to spur interest in radar/EW to students, as well as give insights/purposes to many engineers working within existing radar programs. This lecture can be offered both virtually and in person.
