Dr. Andrea L'Afflitto is a tenured associate professor at Virginia Tech. His expertise is in the areas of control theory, autonomy, and uncrewed aerial systems. He is the recipient of several awards, including the 2018 DARPA Young Faculty Award, and he is an AIAA Associate Fellow, class of 2025. Dr. L'Afflitto is the author of 3 books and more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
