IEEE AESS Senior Design Capstone Project

The IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Senior Design Capstone Project supports undergraduate engineering students completing capstone design projects in aerospace and electronic systems.

Through this program, AESS provides funding for project materials and encourages engagement between students, universities, and IEEE AESS members. Supported projects address real-world engineering challenges and align with AESS technical areas such as aerospace systems, sensing and radar, navigation, electronic warfare, autonomous systems, and signal processing.

A key component of the program is the involvement of IEEE AESS members as technical advisors, subject matter experts, or project sponsors. This collaboration enhances the educational experience while strengthening connections between students and the professional engineering community.

By investing in senior design capstone projects, IEEE AESS advances hands-on engineering education, fosters applied innovation, and supports the development of future leaders in aerospace and electronic systems.
