Gang Li received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. Since 2007, he has been a Faculty Member with Tsinghua University, where he is currently a Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Visiting Researcher with The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, and Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, USA. He has authored more than 200 journal articles and conference papers. He has authored the book "Advanced Sparsity-Driven Models and Methods for Radar Applications" (SciTech/IET Publishing, 2020) and edited the book "Radar Countermeasures for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" (SciTech/IET Publishing, 2021). His research interests include radar signal processing, distributed signal processing, remote sensing, and information fusion. He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He serves as a Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, a Senior Area Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and an Associate Editor for IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing. He served as the Tutorial Speaker for the IEEE Radar Conference in 2017, and the Special Sessions Chair for the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing in 2021.
