Dr. Nermine Hendy recently completed her Ph.D. in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering at RMIT University, Australia. Her research focuses on advanced radio frequency interference mitigation for spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems, including the development of an open-source SAR emulator. By integrating advanced signal processing and deep learning models, her work enhances SAR data quality and reliability. She is also passionate about radar technology for gesture-based human-computer interaction and actively promotes diversity in STEM.
