My name is Ryan Paterson and I was selected to be the Graduate Student Representative to the IEEE AES Board of Governors. I graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rowan University in 2012 and am currently still there working part time on a Master of Science (also in ECE). I work full time for Leidos (Civil Group) as a Systems Integration and Test Engineer where I specialize in test automation and simulation on the US En Route Air Traffic Control System based out of the FAA Technical Center in New Jersey. My goal as a member of the BoG is to increase the focus on both current and potential graduate students and to keep education as a primary pillar of AES and IEEE in general.
