Sharbel Kozhaya is a Senior Research Associate Engineer at The Ohio State University and a member of the Autonomous Systems Perception, Intelligence, and Navigation (ASPIN) Laboratory. He received a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Lebanese American University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is a recipient of the Samuel M. Burka Award (2025) and IEEE/ION PLANS Best in Track Paper Award (2025), and Best Student Paper Award (2023). His current research interests include opportunistic navigation, cognitive software-defined radio, and low Earth orbit satellites.
