Shashi Ranjan Kumar received the B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur, India, in 2008, and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He is an Associate Professor in Aerospace Engineering with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Technion—Israel Institute of Technology. He is a senior member of both AIAA and IEEE. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems and Proceedings of IMechE Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering. His research interests include topics related to guidance of aerospace vehicles, path planning, multi-agent systems, and cooperative control.
