Waddah Al-Ashwal holds a B.S. from Sana’a University (summa cum laude) in Yemen, an MSc with Distinction from the University of Manchester in the UK, and a PhD from University College London in the UK. He was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide, focusing on networked radar system development, and ultra-stable oscillator design and frequency synthesis. He was part of the University of Adelaide team that won the Australian Museum Defence Science and Technology Eureka Prize in 2018. He has extensive experience in radar system design, clutter modeling, RF and digital systems design, and electronic warfare. He currently works as a Principal Radar and EW Engineer at SRC Aus Pty Ltd.
