Ying Zhang ((Click to show email)) was born in Hebei, China in 1994. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. From 2022 to March 2024, he was an Engineer with Nanjing Electronic Equipment Research Institute, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, China, where he worked in the fields of advanced electronic countermeasure and radar. Since April 2024, he has been an Associate Professor with School of Microelectronics (School of Integrated Circuits), Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China.
He has authored or coauthored over 30 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings, e.g., IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Magazine, IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement. His research interests include radar technology, electronic countermeasure, computer vision, machine learning, miniature radar systems, SAR imaging, and remote sensing video analysis.
He is a reviewer for over 30 international journals over 600 peer reviews, and a recipient of the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Jiangsu Province in 2023, and the “Outstanding Reviewer” of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement in 2021, 2023, and 2024, respectively.
He serves an Associate Editor for several international journals, including IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine, IEEE Sensors Letters, IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing, EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, and IET Electronics Letters. He is Guest Editor for IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, Remote Sensing, etc.
