Dr. Zhengyu Peng is a Senior Radar Systems Engineer at Aptiv Corporation’s Indiana Tech Center in Carmel, Indiana, where he works in the Advanced Safety and User Experience (AS&UX) division. He focuses on the development of next-generation high-resolution automotive radar systems that power advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. Dr. Peng received his B.S. (2011) and M.Sc. (2014) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, and earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, in 2018. His research and technical interests include radar imaging, radar signal processing, and automotive radar system design.

Beyond his industrial work, Dr. Peng is actively engaged in the academic and professional radar community. He has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement since December 2020, and since 2023, he has been a member of the Radar Sensor Technology Committee for SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing.
