RF Characterization of Next Generation Satellites (2026)

In this lecture different types of Antenna System and Payload used in Next generation Satellites will be discussed for Communication, Navigation, Remote Sensing and Microwave Remote Sensing Satellites. State-of-art-facilities required and their specifications to simulate space conditions on ground will deliberated in detail. Subsequently challenges involved and ways to mitigate them for successful RF Characterization of Next Generation Satellites will be explained.
