IEEE AESS-ComSoc-SPS Hosts Inaugural Workshop on Integrated Sensing and Communication, Spotlighting Future of Wireless Technology at University College London

The first IEEE AESS-ComSoc-SPS Joint Workshop on Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), organised by the IEEE Emerging Technology Initiative on ISAC, was held in University College London, UK on 17th May, gathering experts from around the world. Distinguished speakers delved into the future of wireless technology, sharing groundbreaking insights on sensing and communication. The talks covered a range of topics from fundamental theory, to signal processing, to experimentation, to adjacent technologies. There was an engaging panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities in ISAC and 6G technologies, featuring industry leaders, where the focus turned on the unique security challenges and opportunities of ISAC. Attendees enjoyed networking with fellow professionals and researchers in the field of wireless communications.
