Abstract

In previous talks, we described advanced solutions to the multi-target tracking (MTT) problem that include centralized and distributed multiple-hypothesis tracking (MHT). In this talk, the focus is on quantifying MTT effectiveness. For single targets in clutter, we discuss generalizations to the Riccati equation formalism. For the full MTT problem, we discuss operational tracking measures as well as recently proposed OSPA-based metrics. Additionally, we discuss approaches to tracker performance modeling.
