Term
1-year term, renewable twice for a total of 3 consecutive years.

Conditions of Eligibility

• Must be IEEE Fellows.
• Cannot serve on the Fellow Evaluating Committee (FEC) or the Fellow Cohort Evaluating Committee (CFEC) at the same time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and nominate suitable candidates for IEEE Fellow elevation.
• Focus on diversity efforts, ensuring nominees come from a variety of backgrounds (geographic, industry, academia, gender, etc.).
• Collaborate with senior members of the IEEE community to seek recommendations for potential nominees.
• Participate in committee meetings and discussions.
• Provide input on best practices to improve outreach and Fellow nominations.
• Assist in preparing the FSC annual report on nominee demographics and outreach effectiveness.

Travel
Is not required for this position.

Expected Meeting Attendance
Virtual committee meeting attendance will be requested for this position.
