Alfonso Farina receives the title Doctor Honoris Causa by the Università degli Studi di Palermo
Dr. Alfonso Farina has been conferred with the title of Doctors of Research Honoris Causa in Information and Communication Technologies by the Department of Engineering of the “Università degli Studi” of Palermo. The prestigious event took place last 22nd March, 2024 at the Sala Magna of Complesso Monumentale dello Steri under its Rector Professore Massimo Midiri and the Pro-Rector Professor Antonio Valente. The event was attended by numerous distinguished members of Academy and Industry.
The Motivation was read by Professor Ilenia Tinnirello. The Laudatio was read by Professor Patrizia Livreri.
Dr. Alfonso Farina presented the Lectio Magistralis entitled: “Evolution of Radar Systems. A Professional Journey”
The ceremony concluded with a gala dinner.
