Event Summary: Dr. Hongbo Sun (Principal Scientist of Institute for Infocomm Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore), was invited by Prof Josaphat Tetuko Sri Sumantyo to give an IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecture "Countering the Drone’s Threat by Radar – Technical Challenges and Perspectives" at Chiba University, Japan, on 3 October 2025. This lecture attracted more than 30 attendees (in person and online), including the faculties, students from Chiba University and industry companies in Japan.
