Event Summary: Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra, Senior Fellow at the United States DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory presented the IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecture titled "Foundations and Trends in Distributed Joint Radar-Communications" at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Ford Meade site) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland, USA. The event was organized by the IEEE AESS Baltimore Section Joint Chapter on 06 July 2023. The talk focuses on the recent developments toward distributed integrated sensing and communications (ISAC), wherein a broad definition of coexistence, collaborative communications, and sensing with interference is considered for ISAC. The talk was followed by a lively and engaging Q&A session between the audience and the speaker. The event lasted for nearly two hours.
