Event Summary: Dr. Kumar Vijay Mishra presented the IEEE AESS Distinguished Lecture titled "Signal Processing for Joint Radar-Communications" at the 13th Annual IEEE North Jersey Advanced Communications Symposium (NJACS-2025) held online (Zoom) on Saturday, September 13, 2025. This symposium was organized by the IEEE North Jersey Section and its AESS, ComSoc, Computer Society, ITSoc and VTS Chapters. Technical support was provided by IEEE METSAC. It was also organized in collaboration with the Canadian-American Research Forum on AI Technologies. The symposium consisted of several keynote presentations covering advanced topics in communications, sensing, and AI. The AESS DL focused on spectral coexistence, co-design, and deep learning-based techniques for ISAC. It was accompanied by a lively and engaging Q&A session between the audience and the speaker.
