Yarmouk University Section Hosted A Ceremony Honoring Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society

A ceremony was held at Hijjawi College of Engineering at Yarmouk University to honor the Space and Electronic Systems Society (AESS YU) in recognition of their efforts and achievements over the past year. During the event, the best team members of the year were announced.

The Space and Electronic Systems Society is the newest community at Yarmouk University, established for the first time in 2022. Since 2023, Hassan Abu Sarees from the Computer Engineering Department has served as the society's chairman, supported by his vice chairperson, Rasha Qara, and an outstanding team of volunteers.

The society has organized a series of unique events, the first of their kind at Yarmouk University, aimed at promoting concepts of space and astronomy connected to engineering science.

The Dean of Hijjawi College expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the society, emphasizing the importance of their role in fostering a culture of space and electronic systems at the university and supporting students interested in these modern scientific fields.

The team also expressed their gratitude to Dr. Ola Al-Taani and Ms. Dalal Zreqat , the society's supervisor, who has been a key supporter in every step. Her academic guidance and meticulous supervision have significantly contributed to the success of the society's scientific initiatives.
