Term
1-year term with eligibility for reappointment for up to 2 consecutive terms not to exceed 3 consecutive years (set by AESS). Aligns with the term of the VP Finance.
Conditions of Eligibility
AESS Member. Elected as either VP Finance or appointed as Treasurer. Must be an IEEE member at the Graduate Student Member, Member, Senior Member, or Fellow grade.
Primary Responsibilities
- Liaison Role: serves as a corresponding member of the TAB Finance Committee.
- Communication & Documentation: receives all announcements and documentation distributed to committee members.
- Financial Oversight: stays informed on IEEE financial policies affecting Technical Activities (TA) and Societies/Councils (S/Cs).
- Budget & Policy Input: may provide input on financial matters, budget development, and S/C financial policies. Corresponding members can disseminate information to other society members. They do not provide input on budget development or policies.
- Financial Performance Monitoring: helps track trends in income, expenses, and financial health of TAB and S/C operations. The Society Treasurer or VP Finance is responsible for the society's financials.

Travel
Is not required for this position. Corresponding members do not attend face-to-face TAB FinCom meetings and travel expenses are not reimbursed should you choose to attend.
Expected Meeting Attendance
Does not attend regular committee meetings, but may attend virtually.
Appointments
Not responsible for making any appointments.
