AESS Member. Appointed as the Secretary.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on the application of the Constitution and Bylaws to AESS Board of Governors (BoG) activities, ensuring compliance and proper governance.
  • Review proposed actions, policies, and activities to assess alignment with the Constitution and Bylaws.
  • Offer recommendations on updates or revisions to the Constitution and Bylaws when necessary to address changes in governance, operations, or organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with other BoG members and committees to provide guidance on constitutional and bylaw-related matters.
  • Draft or assist in drafting proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws, as required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the current Constitution and Bylaws and remain informed about best practices in governance.
  • Serve as the point of contact for inquiries regarding constitutional and bylaw interpretations.

Is not required for this position.

Expected Meeting Attendance
Virtual committee meeting attendance may be requested for this position.
