Conditions of Eligibility

Primary Responsibilities

Represent all IEEE AESS Student Members and IEEE AESS Student Branches.
Make society information and news available to all AESS student members.
Identify students who are willing to support society activities and coordinate their efforts.
Sustain regular dialogue between AESS BoG and AESS Student Members.
Develop student member awareness of IEEE OUs, programs, events, and learning opportunities.
Motivate and lead students in organizing new/creative AESS-relevant activities.
Solve the problems and difficulties faced by AESS student branches/student members.
Report on AESS student activities at each AESS BoG meeting.
Promote and develop AESS student activities
Engage with student activities leaders in TAB and MGA
Apply mentoring and guidance from the AESS Board of Governors and AESS Chapters Coordinator.
Participate in online meetings and teleconferences as needed.

Travel
Minimum 2 times per year
Travel expenses are reimbursed per the IEEE Expense Guidelines.

~May: Spring Board of Governors Meeting
~September-November: Fall Board of Governors Meeting
Attend conferences and events as requested by the VP Member Services and/or AESS President
