AESS Member. AESS BoG membership is not required.

Primary Responsibilities

Content Oversight: Curate and manage the content of the AESS newsletter, ensuring editorial quality and relevance.
Editorial Responsibility: Take final responsibility for all published content, requiring a significant time commitment.
Strategic Development: Drive initiatives and ideas to enhance the QEB, ensuring it delivers valuable content and engagement for society members.
Member Engagement: Connect with society members, including award recipients and office holders, to feature articles highlighting their achievements. The selection of contributors is at the EiC’s sole discretion.
Reporting & Metrics: Provide status updates on the QEB to the VP of Publications before the biannual AESS BoG meetings and upon request. Updates may include engagement metrics (e.g., clicks, reads) and a summary of progress and future plans.

Travel
Is not required for this position.

Expected Meeting Attendance
Publications Committee Committee Meetings as requested (virtual).
