During this phase, attendees benefit from a series of technical and non-technical sessions delivered by distinguished lecturers (DLs) and field experts. These sessions provide essential knowledge on space sustainability concepts, system design principles, SDGs. This preparatory phase equips participants with the necessary skills and insights to successfully tackle the hackathon challenges. Beyond the competition itself, the AESS Sustainability Hackathon 2026 promotes collaboration, leadership, and cross-cultural exchange. By connecting participants from different countries and backgrounds, the event creates an inclusive environment where ideas can be shared freely, innovation is encouraged, and meaningful solutions can emerge.
